Who is Spirit Tortoise in Rising of the Shield Hero?
Spirit Tortoise is a gigantic beast the size of a mountain and big trouble for mankind. He is even a greater threat than the waves of disaster and one of the Guardian Beasts. This beast carries a city called Reiki on its back and can emit a very powerful electric blow from its mouth. Apart from this, it also has terrifying gravity magic that can torment its opponents and enemies. The Tortoise, when cornered, can summon reinforcements such as Yetis, Zombies, Bats, etc. It could be a serious mistake for anyone who thinks Spirit Tortoise is slow and cornered, in fact has the tortoise also his temper.
Will Naofumi be able to defeat Spirit Tortoise?
Spirit Tortoise is considered almost immortal. To defeat him, our heroes must destroy him from within. The core gives access to the turtle’s heart and head and it’s very important to keep in mind that a single mistake can be our hero’s last mistake. Naofumi has to work with his company to deal with him and it is almost impossible for him to defeat the ghost turtle on his own.
If we take the reference from the manga volume 6, Rishia broke the cage of the turtle that guarded the core and also freed our heroes. Naofumi, then uses his recently acquired shield and destroys the core, eventually killing it for the sake of humanity. In this way he also saved Melromarc Town from being crushed by Tortoise. In part 7, our heroes fight with the remaining families of turtles and search for the rest of the heroes.
