The worldwide release date for the film has now been announced. Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie was first released in the local theaters of Japan on December 24, 2021. Since the usual time (about 6) months to 1 year for an anime movie to be released in other parts of the world after its release, Released premiere date in Japan, the JJK movie has exceeded our expectations and will be out soon enough for fans to enjoy.
Crunchyroll, the US distributor, publisher, production and licensing company, recently informed Jujutsu fans about the film’s official release dates:
- North America, US and Canada: March 18, 2022 (will be available in both subtitled and dubbed)
- UK cinemas: March 18, 2022 (preview starts March 16-17, 2022)
- Brazil: March 24, 2022
- France: March 16, 2022 (on the Internet)
- Australia and New Zealand: (as of) March 17, 2022
- South Africa: (from) March 18, 2022
After these dates, the JJK film will soon also be available in Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, French-speaking Africa and Latin America. The film has also reached some Asian countries with the exception of India:

The tickets for the JJK movie will go on sale from February 25, 2022. The screenings of the movie will be released in IMAX theaters in the US, in addition to 1,500 theaters nationwide. Jujutsu Kaisen 0: The Movie – Plot Summary
Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen 0, animated by MAPPA, first premiered in Japanese theaters on December 24, 2021. The story revolves around the “supposedly real” main character, Yuta Okkotsu. A cursed ghost and the descendant of the Great Three Vengeful Ghost of Japan, Yuta ranks second to Gojo Satoru.
The first time he was taken to Jujutsu High is the same as Itadori Yuji. His cursed ghost, Rika-chan, was his childhood friend and lover. When Rika dies, Yuta cannot accept it and unknowingly curses Rika. Shortly after, Rika never left Yuta’s side again. When and who disturbed Yuta, Rika came out to get them. This had actually made Yuta an introverted person who wouldn’t engage in any conversation. More like, he’s afraid someone might get hurt while trying to befriend them.
Yuta couldn’t understand Rika until he entered Jujutsu High. He has been able to laugh about it for a long time with his friends – Maki, Panda and Toge. While Geto infiltrated the Jujutsu High, Gojo was kept at a distance and was unable to arrive in time. However, Yuta and Rika’s teamwork defeats Geto, marking the end of the film.
