About Madhouse Studio

Madhouse Studio is a very well-known Japanese animation studio that was founded more than 49 years ago on October 17, 1972. The company was founded by Masao Maruyama, Osamu Dezaki, Rintaro and Yoshiaki Kawajiri. The company’s headquarters are located in Honcho, Nakano, Tokyo, Japan. Currently, Masahiro Takahashi is the chairman and CEO of the company along with Sanae Tashiro who is the president. Madhouse’s parent companies are Nippon Tv and Songe Pictures Entertainment Japan. Madhouse company has created and also helped many anime movies, series OVAs, etc. It released its very first anime series, Ace o Nerae, which was produced by Tokyo Movie in 1973.

After that, the company did not look back and contributed to the creation of many well-known series. Wicked City, Ninja Scroll, Perfect Blue, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Trigun, Di Gi Charat, Black Lagoo, Death Not, Paprika, Wolf Children, Parasyte: The Maxim, and the first season of One Punch Man made possible by the efforts from the studio. In the 1990s, to broaden their approach and expand their Mushi Pro Staff, it recruited skilled directors such as Mosio Asaka, Masayuki Kojima and Satoshi Kon. During a new beginning in the 2000s, Madhouse recruited many young directors such as Mamoru Hosoda, Takeshi Koike and Mitsuo Iso, who directed Beyblade. The studio has also done a great collaboration with manga artists, including Naoki Urasawa and Clamp.

One of these included ‘Police in a Pod,’ which debuted on January 5, 2022. The anime provided us with the classic example of quality that Madhouse offers. Next, we have “The Bibliophile Princess‘, an anime series about fantasy and romance. The series is inspired by a manga series that took its inspiration from light novel series. The manga was written by Yui and demonstrated by Yui Kikuta. The anime series is directed by Tarou Iwasaki and the screenplay is provided by Mitsutaka Hirota. One Punch Man Manga Read Online: One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero series created by the creator ONE. It is a story about Saitama, a super-hero who is able to take on anyone with just one punch, but is looking for an appropriate opponent after becoming frustrated by the lack of competition due to his incredible ability. In June 2012, the original webcomic was able to surpass 7.9 millions hits. By April 2020 the manga's remake had sold more than thirty million copies.
