Episode 9 of Tokyo 24th Ward was largely based on the flashback that revealed a lot of information about many characters. The latest episode revealed the history of RBG’s employees, including prominent members of the organization such as Chikushi, Kanae, and Suido. The flashback revealed how they were the heroes trying to keep the peace and serenity of the 24th Division.

Chikushi wanted to become a fictional hero with unique clothes, while his ideology seems to contradict Tsuzuragawa, who has the exact opposite ideology. We also see Chikushi and Kanae running the Takara food bank, which inspired the children of the neighborhood to work hard and teach them its core values.

The tenth episode of Tokyo Ward is scheduled for March 23, 2022. The episode was scheduled for March 16, but for some reason the creators had to postpone it for a week and released episode 9.5 to fill the date. Episode 10 shows the working and complete information about the Kanae system developed by Kanae in Episode 9. We also see how the system works after Kanae’s death.

All episodes of Tokyo 24th Ward can be streamed on both Crunchyroll and Funimation. You can even broadcast all future episodes simultaneously on the same platform as soon as they appear on the Japanese television channels. The anime is also available to stream on Funimation, but the Crunchyroll and Funimation library started to merge.
