To become a real heroine! The Unpopular Girl And The Secret Task season 2 is what’s been floating around lately. Will there be a sequel to this anime? The anime was officially announced on August 28, 2021, produced by Lay-duce and directed by Noriko Hashimoto. With the first season recently concluded, fans have already been thinking about the next season of To Become A Real Heroine! The unpopular girl and the secret task.
Anime OPs play a big part when it comes to a good anime. The anime series based on HoneyWorks song “Heroine Tarumono!” A good musical number is just as important as the plot and To Become a Real Heroine! entertained us fantastically with the best musical sequences. It was expected by HoneyWorks (a Japanese Vocaloid Orchestra). They have performed for several OP and ED series.
Storyline
Hiyori Suzumi (the main character of the anime) enrolls in Sakuragaoka High School in Tokyo after leaving her hometown to pursue her passion for athletics. Hiyori finds work as an apprentice manager for her classmates Yuujirou Someya and Aizo Shibasaki, who are part of the idol group LIPxLIP, while looking for a part-time job. While the idol trio LIPxLIP performs onstage, the anime also follows Hiyori’s challenges with her job as a manager, her extracurricular activities, and her struggles with school.

What Happened in Season 1 of Becoming a True Heroine!
We start with our protagonist Hiyori Suzumi, who has big dreams of joining a track team and competing at the national level. But unfortunately a new city and a new school means new problems. However, the beginning is hilarious. She bumps into her at school. Inadvertently, the two rising idols in her class become her enemies (what a great way to start). And things at school quickly got bizarre. She befriends Juri Hattori and Chizuru Nakamura.
The main point of the anime revolves around her hustle and how committed she is to her activities, and her adorable relationship with the boys and other classmates. Her relationship with the boys is very hilarious. From the very beginning (the part where she was called a Potatoe girl caught me off guard, it was hilarious) of the season to the very end, they kept pulling each other’s legs. But in the process. Yuujirou Someya and Aizo Shibasaki came close to her. They helped her confess to Asuka Kaido, her charming prince. Sadly, she was rejected and the idols comforting her were a heartwarming scene.
Nagisa Shiranami may be the reason we have season 2. He is her childhood friend and member of their track and field team. She always defended him against the bullies in elementary school. He eventually confesses to her, but she rejects him because she claims to have priorities.
We can happily say that things ended on a sweet and interesting note. Speaking of which, most music tracks are worth jamming to.
