To become a real heroine! The Unpopular Girl and the Secret Job New PV and More Cast Revealed

This upcoming series is inspired by Honeywork’s song; Heroine Taramono. The Japanese name of the series is; Heroine Tarumono! Kiraware Heroine to Naisho no O-Shigoto. This name can be translated to; To become a real heroine! The unpopular girl and the secret job. So the official Twitter website for the series announced this news. With this they also released key visuals and a new promotional video. And we will see this anime debut in April 2022. The demographic of this series is Shoujo. And this word literally translates to “young woman” from Japanese. Popular Shoujo series include Horimiya, Kaichou Wa Maid Sama and Akatsuki No Yona to name a few.

This series is also getting a manga adaptation. The author of this manga is Tearia Shimane. The manga debuted not too long ago. It came out on January 16, 2022. The official schedule of this manga is the first month of the day. And then the third Sunday of the month. In general, the Shoujo series are not getting enough funding. So in these circumstances it becomes difficult to produce high quality anime. But the same problem does not arise with mangas. So this is great news for the series that it is being adapted in multiple media.

The plot of the series

The main character of this series is Hiyori Suzumi. And she’s your average girl next door. So she recently moved to Tokyo. Here she enrolls at Sakuragaoka High School. To get to Tokyo, she had to give up her old memories. But she has big dreams. So she comes to Tokyo to pursue her true passion. Needing some extra money to survive in Tokyo, she starts looking for a job. So eventually she gets a part-time job. And in this job she has to manage her two classmates. These classmates are Yujiro Someya and Aizo Shibasaki. Both characters are members of the LIPxLIP. And gradually the story develops into a coming-of-age story.

Staff behind the anime

Honey Works produces the original music for this series. Noriko Hashimoto is directing this film at the Lay-duce studio. And the screenwriter of this series is Yoshimi Narita. Both the character design and main animation will be done by Kaori Ishii. While the art direction is done by Ryosuke Obokata. And Tomoko Yamazaki is the color designer. Go Sadamatsu is the editor in chief. And Yomogiko Murano is the director of photography. Yukio Nagasaki oversees the sound direction. And the planning and production is done by Shunsuke Saito.

The main cast of the anime

Inori Minase plays the main character Hiyori Suzumi. She is best known for playing Rem in Re:Zero. She has won the prestigious 10th Seiyu Award for her role in The anthem of the heart. Next on the list is Yujiro Someya, played by Kouki Uchimiya. This actor has played several iconic roles. And some of these characters are Soul Eater Evans, Yuri Plisetsky, Kei Tsukishima, and Akira Fudo. This actor has also received the prestigious 5th Seiyu Award. Nobunaga Shimazaki plays Aizo Shibasaki. And this actor has worked in many notable animes. These animes include Free, Fruits Basket, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Black Clover to name a few. And he has won prestigious positions in the 7th and 15th Seiyu Awards.

An additional cast for the anime was also later announced. Among these, there are also several notable actors. Ayane Sakura plays Juri Hattori. And Saori Hayami plays Chizuru Nakamura. Junya Enoki plays Nagisa Shiranami. The actor is most famous for his role as Yuji Itadori in Jujutsu Kaisen. And recently we heard the news that he tested positive with Covid. Together with these actors, Momo Asakura plays Hina Setoguchi. And Hanae Natsuki voices Kotaro Enomoto. So Eguchi Takuya plays Ken Shibasaki. And Arise Takamizawa is played by Nao Toyama. Together with these characters, Yoshitsugu Matsuoka plays Kodai Yamamoto.
