The devil is a part-timer! Episode overview
A mysterious woman on Ente Isla enters the devil king’s abandoned castle and transforms a lone plant into energy before delivering it to Earth. While visiting Bell, Emilia jokes about Maou, Alciel and Urushihara for being poor in one of their typical fights. Before Maou goes to his job at MgRonald’s, Maou senses a strange presence in the building. In the household, where they also feel something, Alciel tries to show Urushihara how to clean up. When the monster in the house starts attacking Urushihara, he is distracted from his attempt to clean up.
Chiho wants to go to Maou’s house when their shift is over, but Maou doesn’t really want her to go because of ‘something’ in the house. When it starts to rain and they have to share an umbrella, he reluctantly agrees. The “object” is later identified as a cockroach, which begins to scare everyone before Bell kills it.
Above the structure, a gate of Ente Isla suddenly opens and a giant apple appears. After a confrontation between Maou and Emilia, Emilia tries to strike him with her sacred sword, but arms appear from the apple to block her. They take the transformed apple – a young girl – inside. When asked who her parents are, she introduces herself as Alas Ramus and gestures to Maou and Emilia, which shocks everyone.

After the discovery, the group tries to decide what to do with Alas Ramus, assuming that since her name is an Ente Islan name, she is not actually related to the angels. Maou agrees to let her stay and take care of her in their home. Later, Chiho buys baby supplies for Alas Ramus in an attempt to help herself and as a result of her lingering fear that she hasn’t heard from Maou about her confession. Suzuki gets tickets to the Tokyo Big-Egg Town theme park so they can go together after Emilia talks to her about the conflict between Suzuki, Maou and Alas Ramus.
Due to a miscommunication, Chiho and Suzuna bring Alas Ramus to Maou at work, resulting in a minor scandal. Maou and Chiho are approached by the manager, Kisaki, who advises them to pay more attention to their appearance. Chiho accepts Maou’s gratitude for all her help and his apology for not being able to respond to her confession yet. Maou receives tickets from Kisaki to Tokyo Big-Egg Town, bringing the gang to a total of 6 members.
The girl insists, and Emilia reluctantly agrees to accompany Maou and Alas Ramus to the park. Alciel, Chiho and Suzuki make the decision to secretly accompany the three on their “date” the day of the trip. Urushihara detects the entrance of an army and an angel trying to rebuild the “Tree of Life” through a gate.
