The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 Episode 1 Recap
After the disappearance of Satan (Sadao) and Emi, the United Knights of the Five Continents went on a mission to clean up the remnants of the demon army. Meanwhile, a mysterious woman entered the Overlord’s castle and, with the help of a plant there, a fruit grew, wondering where Satan actually went wrong. Back in Tokyo, Satan struggles with the overwhelming heat of summer, while Ashiya is furious at Urushihara’s irresponsible nature.
He tells the Demon Lord Lucifer that he is shocked by his current condition. After his arrival in modern Japan, Urushihara has become a NEET and Ashiya blames him for being a financial burden to others. In addition, he refuses to help him with household chores, which is understandably frustrating for Ashiya, who has to work very hard to do everything alone. As Ashiya berates the demon lord Lucifer, Satan politely asks him to cut it out. Unfortunately, he refuses to listen and rants about barley tea again.
Satan decides to go to work, but when he opens the door, he accidentally hurts Emi, who is standing next to it. Ashiya wonders if she’s been overhearing their conversation the whole time, but Emi refutes it as a ridiculous claim with no truth. When she doesn’t stop talking about her AC room, Satan gets pretty angry and asks her to stop mocking his poverty. Later at work, he shows off his new bike to Chiho. It turns out that Suzuno bought it for him for a whopping 30,000 yen.
When Emi hears this, she is shocked and asks Suzuno to be careful with her finances, as she recently arrived in Japan. Suzuno later explains that she arranged the money by selling the ritual implements she bought from the church of Ente Isla to the local pawn shop. When Emi has a strange feeling that she is being watched, she suspects that assassins from Ente Isla may have reached Japan again or that Lord Archangel Sariel is trying to take the sacred sword. But Suzuno disagrees.
It turns out that Sariel has gained a lot of weight since his arrival in Japan due to his poor eating habits. While Sadao is busy at work, Ashiya entrusts various household chores to Urushihara. Later that night, when Sadao is about to reach his house, he is warned by Urushihara’s screams. As he sprints to his apartment, he notices that his friend is afraid of a cockroach.
If it accidentally lands on his hands, Sadao can’t do much and he panics himself. Fortunately, Suzuno puts an end to the dramatic commotion by killing the insect with her hammer. When everyone gathers around a bonfire outside to discuss everyday issues, a portal opens in the sky, scaring them. When Emi notices that such anomaly always occurs when she is near Sadao, the Demon Lord becomes enraged and reminds her that she is the one stalking her.
The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 Episode 1 Ending: Who is Ramus alas? Is she related to Sadao and Emi?
After the portal opens in the sky, Sadao and the rest of his friends try to get out of the way in anticipation of what’s about to happen. Soon a huge apple falls to the ground and the portal closes. Sadao notes that such apples are even rare in his world. Meanwhile, Emi, offended by the stalking comment, claims she would never stalk a man like him.
When Sadao makes a reprehensible comment about her body, Emi can’t contain it anymore. She grabs her weapon and tries to attack her nemesis directly. Sadao instinctively closes his eyes as he has little to no time to react, but the weapon is caught by hands protruding from the large apple that has fallen from the sky. Soon a young girl emerges who introduces herself as Alas Ramus.
Although she doesn’t know much, she claims that Sadao and Emi are her parents when she is questioned about her parents and families. While Sadao and Emi continue to deny it, Alas is convinced they are her family. So, although Alas Ramus is most likely not related to them, she has claimed Sadao and Emi as her parents, and in the coming episodes, the duo will be forced to put aside their rivalry to give her co-parenting.
