What happened in episode 4?
Episode 4 of Teasing Master Takagi-san has kept up the series of cute and beautiful sketches, but also added something new to the mix. Aliens! Yes. That’s right, we have our first alien spots on the show. Now let’s take a step-by-step look at what happened in this episode titled “Uniform change, Winter uniform, UFO, Night”. Things are starting to look good for Nishikata as he has won his first match against Takagi. She forgot to wear her winter uniform as she tried to wear it the day Nishikata would. But Nishikata wore his that day because he heard the weather forecast for that day. So Takagi lost, but she didn’t tell Nishikata about the match, so he felt bad about getting that win. Instead, he proposes that if he could get her to say the word cold that day, he would win. He tries to use her old trick on Takagi, but she catches on, and it fails. Then Takagi-san wins by turning the match into something romantic. And from the way red Nishikata turned, he didn’t seem to mind.
In the following sketch we see the three girls in their class talking about winter uniforms. Sanae wore her summer uniform to class because Hibine forgot to inform her. So as an apology, Hibine pulls up her sleeve to make her blouse resemble that of the summer uniform. But towards the end of the day it starts to get quite cold. She’s cold, but can’t pull down her sleeves for fear of Sanae. We get to see some cute antics between Hibine and Sanae during this part.
The third sketch, titled “UFO,” is where it all goes down. Takao-Kun, Nishikata’s friend with glasses, took a picture of a UFO or a shining light that he threw into the sky to make it look like a UFO, so to speak. Even though his lie is caught by Sanae, Nishikata wants to take such a picture. Takagi-san decides to help him by throwing the stone in front of him. After a few tries and failures, they finally manage to get the perfect shot. But when Takagi-san looks at the photo, she notices that it looks nothing like the rock she threw. She turns and notices that there was a real UFO there. But it disappears before she can show it to Nishikata.
The last part, ‘Night’, is the most romantic of them all. Nishikata tells Takagi-san that he will go to the public bath at seven that evening. He expects she will be there, because she was the one who asked for the time. But she’s not there when he comes in. So he takes a bath disappointed. But he sees her when he goes to get his drink after the bath. Turns out she got there earlier because she takes longer to get a bath. As the two walk home, Nishikata wants to compete with her again. He says that the person who blushes first loses, thinking he has an advantage in the dark. Unfortunately, Takagi-san is too smart to fall for that. She suggests that there be no self-reports, and that they have to keep their faces very close together to see in the dark. As she does so, Nishikata immediately blushes and loses. But like a gentleman, after the game, he offers to take her home because it is night. When Takagi-san points this out, Nishikata blushes even more.
