Here’s everything you need to know about the ending of ‘Spy x Family’ Episode 7. SPOILERS AHEAD!
Spy x Family Episode 7 Recap
Even though Anya has made it to Eden Academy, Loid knows that his real mission has just begun, and he now faces a huge challenge. That is why he gets up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for everyone so that Anya is on time. He later takes her to the school bus along with Yor and asks her to apologize to Damian for hitting him yesterday. When Anya arrives at the entrance, she sees Becky getting out of her luxury car and takes no time to say hello.
Becky is also excited to meet her new boyfriend and offers to pick her up in her car for school every day from the day after. As they walk to their class, Anya spots Damian and tries to apologize to him, but is dragged away by her new boyfriend. Loid is concerned about his daughter, so he has already broken into the school building and sees the whole interaction unfolding before his eyes. However, he suddenly remembers that Desmond and the Blackwell group are partners, so there is a possibility that Becky will be sent by the enemy group to fail his mission.
It doesn’t take long for Loid to disprove the theory for its downright absurdity. Meanwhile, Anya and Becky are in class together, preparing for their first class. Unfortunately, everyone is skeptical or afraid of Anya because of the slapping incident, and she can hear their negative thoughts. Fortunately, in all this chaos, Becky assures her that she will be there for her, no matter what others think.
The first lecture on math is long and complicated, so Anya eventually falls asleep towards the end of it. She later goes to the cafeteria to have something to eat with Becky. Loid is also there, dropping numerous clues that repeatedly ask Anya to apologize as soon as possible. By this time, however, he has acknowledged that Becky always stops her from doing it. So Loid makes arrangements to give Anya a small chance to apologize.
When Becky is gone, she approaches and confesses to Damian that she is truly sorry for what happened the previous day and begins to sob uncontrollably. Damian, who has developed a crush on her, struggles to understand his feelings, which are further complicated by her sweet apology. He runs off in embarrassment, claiming he will never forgive her, leading Loid to think Plan B has failed.
Spy x Family Episode 7 Ending: How does Loid want to raise Anya and make the plan work after pushing her too much?
When Anya comes home, Loid knows that his Plan B has fallen apart. Therefore, he recognizes that the only way to reach Donovan Desmond now is to follow Plan A, in which he must take on the seemingly impossible task of making Anya an honorary student. So he starts burdening her with studies as soon as she gets back. As you can guess, this didn’t end well as Anya couldn’t handle the pressure for long and isolated herself in her room after telling Loid she didn’t want to study anymore.
Yor, having seen all the drama unfold, asks the secret spy to loosen her up a bit since she’s just a kid. Loid also believes that kids her age probably don’t care much about numbers, and he could have done better by becoming an example in Anya’s eyes to follow. Yor suggests that they just let her be herself so she can enjoy school too and not hate studying.
Loid’s attitude clearly shows that he has learned his lesson and decides to give Anya the space to enjoy her life as well. Later, he knocks on her door to apologize, but gets no response despite repeated attempts. When he opens the door, he finds Anya sleeping with her head on the table and appears to have fallen asleep while studying. Along with the secret spy who decides to become a better father, it seems that Anya has also vowed to get better grades and make him proud.
