In the eleventh episode of “Spy x Family,” titled “Stella,” Loid worries about Anya’s continued poor academic performance and his seemingly impossible task of helping her earn multiple Stellas over the next few months. However, after failing to get it through community service, Anya shows remarkable courage to save someone’s life and accidentally earns it. Here’s everything you need to know about the ending of ‘Spy x Family’ Episode 11. SPOILERS AHEAD!
Spy x Family Episode 11 Recap
When the results of Anya’s school tests finally reach Loid, he is shocked to realize that she has underperformed most subjects and even failed some of them. He knows she’ll have to get to know a few Stellas in the coming months if she plans to catch up with the Torintos she got on the first day of school for beating Damian.
The secret spy realizes that there are several other ways to earn it instead of just performing well in academia. Therefore, he begins to focus on extracurricular activities. Loid checks Anya’s natural talent in several areas, but is disappointed to realize she’s just as bad at other things. Therefore, he decides to take her as a volunteer in a hospital, in the hope that she can earn a Stella there and that she doesn’t even need any special talent for it.
Unfortunately, things don’t go as well as Loid would have liked. Anya’s poor attention span, coupled with her curiosity, soon angered the staff there and the duo were kicked out. At about the same time, a boy named Ken arrived there for physical therapy, unaware of the danger he was putting himself in. While standing by the pool, he accidentally fell and started drowning.
Unfortunately, no one saw it when it happened, but his desperate thoughts are noticed by Anya, who grows impatient and doesn’t know what to do. She tells Loid that someone is in danger, but then makes up another excuse. Anya runs straight to the pool and soon sees bubbles forming in one spot. Without concern for her own well-being, she jumps straight in the direction. But as the secret spy runs after her, he sees where she jumped.
Loid saves Ken’s life thanks to Anya, who caught him in time. The next day she gets a Stella at her school for being brave and having saved a life. Anya becomes instantly famous, but many students think she probably cheated in some way to earn the credit. While most students talk behind her back, Anya shows an attitude of superiority after getting a little overconfident.
Interestingly, she is defended by Damian, while others continue to speculate that she does not deserve the Stella Star. Meanwhile, Becky discusses a reward for doing good, but Anya’s expectations turn out to be too high. That’s why she shares that the best reward she ever got was her dog, who is still an invaluable part of her life.
Spy x Family Episode 11 Ending: What Does Anya Want as a Reward for Earning a Stella?
After listening to Becky, Anya starts thinking seriously about an appropriate reward that could ultimately help her family too. She realizes that buying a dog might be a good idea, since Damian has one too, and she could become his friend by letting their dogs play together. Once that happens, she will eventually manage to be invited to his home, and Loid can use that opportunity to meet his father and complete his dangerous mission. Later that day, Anya tells her father that she wants a dog.
Loid says he also thought about giving her a reward. Yor, however, is a little too careful. She says Anya could be seriously injured if the dog turns out to be aggressive. Though Anya gets scared, she doesn’t go back on her decision and tells her parents to buy a small dog. Although the episode ends without clarifying whether the Forgers will finally get a pet or not, we can say that they will soon adopt a dog based on Tatsuya Endo’s manga series that serves as the inspiration for the show. However, viewers will have to wait to find out how they will find their ideal pet.
