Rent A Girlfriend Season 2 Release Date
The second season of Rent A Girlfriend has been announced for a while now. According to the previous updates, all previous cast and staff members will resume their roles to produce the anime in Studio Comet. Rent A Girlfriend Season 2 release date is set for July 2022. Currently there is no announcement of a specific date. However, we look forward to all the details in the coming days.
While the release date has not been announced, the official Rent a Girlfriend website has released the first character visual of “Sumi”, a character that will debut in the next season. The character is illustrated as a cute girl with pink hair that is loose. She wears a strip of braid on one side of her head. Her outfit consists of a brown sweatshirt with a brown skirt, both paired with black shoes. She carries a toy dolphin in her arms.
Sumo’s voice actor turns out to be Rie Takahashi (Re: Zero, KonoSuba). Several fans are already quite invested in Rent A Girlfriend’s pre-existing female characters. With Sumi’s level of adorable features, we can’t help but wonder how fans would react to her. Here is a brief introduction to Sumi and her role in the upcoming part of the story.
Who is Sumi? Hire a friend
Sumi’s full name is Sumi Sakurasawa. She is a 19-year-old college student who makes her first appearance in the manga in Chapter 41. Sumi attends Furonomizu Women’s University and works part-time at the same rental agency as Chizuru (Diamond). Sumi is a cute and hardworking girl. At Diamond, she is Chizuru’s junior. Chizuru also acts as her mentor in the rental service. At the same time, the two also have a great friendship with Sumi looking up to Chizuru very much.
Personally, Sumi is quite shy and introverted, but she has a deep desire to change in her attempt to change. She meets Kazuya. After Chizuru introduces the two, Sumi goes on a rehearsal date with Kazuya. The two eventually grow closer and develop a bond. After her introduction to the series, Sumi becomes one of the main recurring characters. Her soft voice is due to her subconscious personality. She tends to think too much often and feels that she is not good at her job as a rental girlfriend.
Sumi is involved in several major arcs in the manga after her appearance. She is quite a fun character and adds a lot of fun and color to the story. We are really looking forward to seeing her involvement in the second season of Rent A Girlfriend.
