Pecorine finally managed to get back into the fight after meeting the Queen and exchanging some words with her. Princess Connect! Re: Dive Season 2 Episode 6 explores the aftermath of the fight against the shadows. Meanwhile, Makoto and her team have figured out what to do to stop the horde of shadows and the golem that is about to destroy their hometown.
Before that happened, Yuuki was taken to the memory realm, but couldn’t see beyond some memories because it wasn’t time yet. However, he found that what used to be called shadows seem to be bugs that appear randomly like a virus.
He further discovered that they had to be eliminated by the world’s immune system, but because of a mysterious individual. Those viruses are used as weapons. This information helped him fight the shadows when he successfully rescued Kiri.
The shadows seem to be attracted to Kiri and would chase and try to kill her wherever she would try to go. So Yuki must always be close to her so that he can protect her. Meanwhile, Kary wonders if Pecorine is really dead and finds it hard to believe.
The shadows continued their march and moved toward Kiri. So her group devised a plan that Kiri would use as bait to lure the shadows out of town. It would put her in danger, but it’s their only option at the moment, and Kiri is happy to follow through with this strategy.

Princess Connect! Re: Dive Season 2 Episode 5 Highlights
A horde of shadows, led by a golem, moves toward where Kiri is going, leaving her life in danger. Her group, along with Yuki, devised a plan to lure the shadows away from the city so they could eliminate them without endangering anyone’s life.
Kiri willingly complies because she wants to make everyone happy, and now their plan is in action. There seems to be something wrong with Kirir, but no one seems to have noticed at this point. Back at Landosol Castle, Pecorine is still trying to find the way out, but things don’t seem to be going well for her.
Pecorin’s real name is finally revealed when she asks the queen why she wants to become the king of Landosol. She doesn’t seem interested in talking to her about it. Instead, she pointed out how unfair the world had been to her and that she had to use her own powers to get what she wanted.
Kiri managed to reach the lake where she had to lure the shadows. So now they had to wait for the right moment to carry out the final phase of their plan. The strange things that kept happening to Kiri’s body kept repeating themselves just as she was about to flee from the shadows.
So she collapsed at the last minute and Yuki came to her rescue. Her body started to fall apart as Yuki’s body started to play up again. Another strange thing that followed this incident was when the shadows returned to the city, meaning Makoto’s plan didn’t work effectively.
