There are several new anime released this winter, Orient is one of them. The series was released on January 6, 2022. The series is currently being produced by ACGT studio. The manga is illustrated by Shinobu Ohtaka. Orient became extremely popular in a short period of time, making it an exceptional anime as it stood in the spotlight among the other newly released anime.
The story is set in the Sengoku period, a historical period in Japan, a time when Japan faced constant wars and battles. According to the official announcements, the first season of Orient will have a total of 12 episodes. Currently, the anime is in progress and contains 10 episodes. Exciting revelations in the final episode keep fans curious about the next episode. That’s why today we take a look at the release date and preview of Orient Episode 11.
Hinomoto is a country ruled by demons where being samurai is a criminal offence. Musashi is a 15 year old boy who lives on this land and knows the truth about the demons. During his childhood, he promised his best friend that one day he will become a warrior and bring down the demons that rule their land. But after five years, Musashi mixed with others as a miner. These people were manipulated into thinking that the demons are their saviors and so they have to work to serve them now. To blend in with other miners, he kept his opinion and knowledge to himself. His sole purpose now is to overthrow the demons and show the truth to everyone.
Orient Episode 10 Recap
In the previous episode, viewers witnessed one of Orient’s best fight scenes, when Nanao was given a special sword that can turn into seven blades. Which means it has the potential to take down three people at once. So now Musashi, Kojiro and Tsugumi must fight Nanao to save their lives. However, Kojiro managed to corner and defeat Nanao strategically.
That’s not all though, the protagonists had to face the Obsidian Goddess. When they also managed to corner her, she chose Musashi as host. She took over his body, which was a huge advantage for him at first, as she gave him all the powers she possessed. With these new powers Musashi has acquired, he can use them to stop the supernatural beings who are often attracted to him.
Orient Episode 11 Release Date
People are patiently waiting for the 11th episode, titled What’s in a Katana? With this new power-up of such great intensity, all fans are eager to see if Musashi would finally achieve his goals and take down the demons once and for all. However, his new powers have some limitations. Musashi cannot use it for a long time, so eventually he will have to depend on his friends when he exhausts the duration of his power. But this mistake makes it even more interesting. With only 2 episodes left before the season finale, what happens if Musashi can’t use his powers at a critical moment?
Orient Episode 11 was set to release on March 16, 2022. However, the episode was postponed due to the earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale in Japan. An official Tsunami warning was made for Wednesday and so Crunchyroll had to pull the episode from its platform. The message was issued by Crunchyroll stating that the episode has been postponed. Besides Orient, there were several other anime that were delayed due to the earthquake.
Unfortunately, the new date and time for the 11th episode has not yet been announced. The official production team has only issued a statement that they will inform the new release date when it is decided.
