Made in Abyss Season 2 Episode 3 Recap
After arriving at the village of the Holes, Riko, Nanachi and Reg encounter a strange looking creature who turns out to be quite intelligent. Later they discover that he is a hollow called Majikaja and much to their delight he even wants to help them meet their friend. As they follow their new friend, Reg begins to worry about the curse, but Nanachi reassures him. They later find Prushka being operated on by another Hollow.
Though the trio are about to intervene, Majikaja explains that she needs to reach her true form, after which the friends finally feel a little better. Majikaja later takes them to a market where he explains that they can buy anything as long as they are willing to pay the price. Riko is overjoyed when she finds one of her mother’s letters and asks Majikaja to buy it for her, not quite realizing how the exchange of goods takes place in the village of Hollows.
When she realizes she has to trade a body part for the letter, Riko changes her mind. Majikaja continues to show them the rest of the village while discussing the value of various things in more detail. He states that Nanachi is of great value, as she is quite lively and protected by a strong desire. While all this is happening, the voids at the trio are getting closer and closer. Not finding it disturbing, Riko gives Meinya to one of them.
However, the cavity presses so hard on Meinya’s stomach that it nearly kills her. Nanachi jumps right into action and makes sure her little friend is okay. After the unexplained incident, the three friends head to an inn where they eat as much as they can, ignoring the obvious signs of food contamination. Riko falls ill while Nanachi and Reg decide to explore the village.
Made in Abyss Season 2 Episode 3 Ending: What Are Cavities? Who is Faputa to them?
Hollows are special creatures who have managed to withstand the curse of the City of the Unreturned. However, they have to pay for it with their body, which has become deformed as a result. In most cases, the Hollows’ bodies are shaped according to the shape of their true desires. Therefore, in a sense they are only a shadow of their previous selves and interestingly enough they can take on different forms overwhelmingly determined by the circumstances (including their desires as mentioned earlier) of their transformation.
After Riko falls ill and has to rest in the inn for a while, Nanachi and Reg decide to go outside. Nanachi plans to get something useful for Riko and Meinya. But just as they walk to the entrance of their inn, they are startled by the crowds outside. When they see Majikaja also heading in the same direction as the others, the two friends ask him what is the reason for all the buzz. Majikaja explains that everyone wants a glimpse of Faputa, whom he defines as the true embodiment of value.
According to him, Faputa can move from one place to another without being seen. Nanachi immediately wonders if it was she who kidnapped Prushka from them and left the note as well. Only someone with her powers could have done such a thing. While Majikaja seems impressed by her mysterious personality and lacks an intimate understanding, he gives Nanachi and Reg by calling her the Princess of the Hollows.
Will the Ganja Suicide Corps find the Golden City?
After traveling through the rough seas for several days and with the help of the island’s locals, the Ganja Suicide Corps not only found the sixth layer of the Abyss, but also managed to reach the Golden City. Upon their arrival, they meet the Hollows there and struggle to communicate with them.
But just when it looks like they’re finally on the same page as the Hollows, a huge dragon comes out of nowhere and eats one of them. The Ganjas who have just arrived in the City of Unreturned realize that they now face a terrifying challenge. Without prior knowledge, they must face the various unknown enemies waiting for them in the sixth tier.
