Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Season 3 Episode 2 Recap
During a casual conversation, Shirogane asks Ishigami why Iino hates him? Ishigami thinks the answer is pretty obvious as he’s the kind of person who barely follows school rules while Iino’s on the public morals committee, which of course makes them loathe each other. He feels like he’s been helping her behind her back the whole time, as she gets into trouble quite a bit. But her lack of gratitude bothers Ishigami. Shirogane advises him to be more honest with her, which is the only way for both of them to get along.
Meanwhile, Osaragi discusses the same with Iino, who becomes enraged. She explains how she has tried to make Ishigami’s life easier, but despite her persistent efforts, he is always condescending and ungrateful. When the four accidentally bump into each other, Osaragi and Shirogane advise the other two to get over their petty quarrels and become friends. They offer their help by giving the two a series of missions that they hope will bring them closer together. Unfortunately, they all backfire, making Ishigami and Iino even more spiteful.
Later, Ishigami is asked by his classmates to go to karaoke with them, as he is not on student council duty that day. If he seems disinterested, they argue that it is a good opportunity for him to get to know students from other schools. When he agrees to go, Hayasaka asks Kaguya if she’s okay with it. But to her surprise, Kaguya doesn’t share her concerns and is fine with Shirogane making more friends. However, when Hayasaka explains what karaoke can lead to, Kaguya’s insecurities take over and she decides they must stop him at all costs.
Later at the club, Shirogane meets Hayasaka, who openly admits in front of others that she has been rejected by him in the past. While she claims she doesn’t like him being there, she doesn’t allow Shirogane to leave either. When a random stranger tries to flirt with her and behaves shamelessly, Shirogane grabs her hands and takes her out of the club. However, he has no idea that Hayasaka uses a Bluetooth device to be in constant contact with Kaguya. But much to the surprise of the student council vice president, she books a separate room where she and Shirogane can be alone.
Meanwhile, Hayasaka reminds Kaguya of the challenge of seducing Shirogane and making him fall in love with her. Although she wasn’t in a position to take up the challenge right away when Kaguya first asked, Hayasaka tells her that she is now well prepared and will now be able to seduce her.
Kaguya-sama: Love Is War Season 3 Episode 2 Ending: Does Hayasaka Seduce Shirogane?
When Kaguya learns what Hayasaka plans to do, she immediately rushes to the private karaoke rooms, which have become infamous for obscene incidents in recent months. She is shocked to find a room where the view in is blocked by Hayasaka’s coat. Although Kaguya wants to barge in to prevent something from happening, she realizes that doing so will make her look like a stalker, which wouldn’t sit well with Shirogane.
So she invites Fujiwara to the same room for a karaoke session, hoping that her intervention will stop Hayasaka. Meanwhile, she hears obscene voices coming from the room, which only makes Kaguya more anxious. She considers it a waste of time to invite Fujiwara, as Hayasaka has done the unthinkable. However, her suspicions turn out to be wrong.
When Kaguya later meets Hayasaka, it becomes clear that all the noises coming from the room were actually Shirogane’s bad singing. Hayasaka had only wanted to go back to Kaguya because he had made her angry, so she lied about seducing Shirogane when she never intended to. Shirogane
