The visual novel series Grisaia: Phantom Trigger was developed by Frontwing. The novel was the first in the series of visual novels produced by Frontwing. It was released as a game under the genre of Eroge and Visual Nove. The game has been released for many platforms including Windows, PlayStation Portable, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch. The entire release was as follows: MS Windows on February 25, 2011, Playstation Portable on February 21, 2013, and Playstation Vita on August 8, 2013. It didn’t stop here when it released its sequels such as ‘The Labyrinth of Grisaia’, ‘The Fruit of Grisaia: Sanctuary Fellows’, and ‘The Eden of Grisaia’. It was later adapted into a manga series titled ‘The fruit of Grisaia: L’Oiseay Bleu’.

Story
The plot of the series revolves around the lives of young people at Mihama Academy. Main character Yuji Kazami is transferred to Mihama Academy, but that gets very interesting after the introduction of the other students. It consisted of only five female students and it gave the atmosphere of a literal prison. Every student who has enrolled there has their own reasons for being there. However, Yuji decided to ignore this fact completely and stay away from all the drama. He just wanted a normal college life and went out of his way to have it. But the anime would have to have some twists and turns to be interesting. There will be some events that will involve those five girls and Yuji will eventually accept to join on her own initiative.
Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Anime Announced
Frontwing’s Grisaia: Phantom Trigger returns with an all-new anime series. According to the things revealed so far, it will be produced by the same studio, just like before. Previously released original games, anime adaptations, OVAs and their sequels were powered by the Bibury Animation Studio. Also this time the production house will remain constant so the fans were relieved for the quality we will get. It’s going to follow the entire plot we know so far, but the staff and cast of the new series have yet to be revealed.
As expected, director Tensho produced the founder of Bibury Animation Studio and produced the anime as his first work. He was also responsible for writing and supervising the scripts and has a lot of interest. So Tensho remains constant as a director, but the rest will be announced in a while.
