About Geto Suguru
When we come to love and admire an anime character, it doesn’t matter whether the character is an antagonist or the protagonist. All that matters to us is what the character looks like, what kind of skills he possesses and most importantly what kind of personality he carries. In the case of Geto Suguru, he is known as the main antagonist of the anime series Jujutsu Kaisen. Although he was introduced as a cursed ghost, he was one of the students of Jujutsu High in his early life. The classmates of Gojou Satoru and Ieiri Shoko and the student of Masamichi Yaga. After gaining knowledge of Jujutsu and becoming a wizard, he developed hatred towards the non-wizards. He got carried away and ended up massacring civilians at night.
This terrible incident led to him being banned from Jujutsu High as he has now become one of the worst curse users. As for his persona, he deeply disliked the non-jujutsu users and, in the same place, had a great feeling for his fellow wizards whom he referred to as “family.” Even when he was about to die, he shared some things with Satoru that he can’t live happily in this world anyway. That was the time when he could finally release that Jujustu Sorcerers only exist to protect the non-wizards. All the madness and carnage he did all his life, he ended all the bond he shared with Gojou Satarou.
Appearance and birthday
Now let’s delve deeper into the details about our beloved antagonist Geto Suguru. The famous villain from the series Jujutsu Kaisen – Geto Suguru, born on February 3, makes him an Aquarius. As seen in the series, he is 27 years old just like the age of Goujou Sataro. That’s not the only thing that connects them, Geto Suguru and Gojo Satoru also share the same height, namely 190cm. He has a pair of small and sharp eyes that are colored purple in manga and black in anime. He made his first appearance in the 2nd chapter of the manga and the 5th episode of the anime adaptation. Geto is a tall, slender man with black hair that he ties together like a beautiful man’s bun. While he was a student, he got relatively small hair compared to the one he got after he became a curse user.
Power and Powers
During his time as a student, both Geto and Gojou were considered the strongest among the other wizards. He was given a wide range of abilities along with an impressive collection of cursed ghosts. Geto has a very good understanding of how curses and techniques work and also has the ability to manipulate and hide his residues. His technique is called “Cursed Spirit Manipulation” and it allows him to control wandering cursed spirits. He must verbally digest the dominant curses to make use of them.
Geto’s powers reached the level where he can absorb a curse without any consequences. Not only this, he is also able to digest the curses of other wizards as long as he lets the master get killed. This is what makes him slightly different from other curse users and brutally awesome too.
