A new Character PV has been released for Blue Lock as we take a closer look at Meguru Bachira. The upcoming anime series that will be ending this year has released a new character teaser that gives us a look at the character design of the anime. Prior to the release of the anime, the series has already gained a lot of popularity as it belongs to very famous publications. It comes straight from the publishing house of Attack on Titan and Seven Deadly Sins. Not only this, but the plot of the manga also centers the theme of sports focused on the football game. So fans expect it to be the quality of the very famous volleyball anime series Haikyuu!! will get.

Blue Lock’s first character teaser was released on January 19, 2022. It didn’t give much in the character design, but was enough to add to the fan’s excitement. The Japanese manga series Blue Lock, also known as Buru Rokku, is a sports thriller-based shonen manga series. It was written by author Muneyuki Kaneshiro who debuted in 2011 with his ‘As the Gods Will’, which was adapted into a live-action film. The manga’s illustration was created by Yusuke Nomura, who previously worked on Dolly Kill Kill. He acquired his professional mangaka skills under the mentorship of Hajime Isayama, which made him a perfect artist. The manga has been published by none other than Kodansha, who has featured it in Weekly Shonen manga magazine. It debuted on August 1, 2018 and has amassed 17 tankobon volumes, with more in the works. An anime adaptation of the manga was announced in late 2021. The production of the anime is done by Eight Bit Studio along with a group of talented collaborators.

Story

The plot of the anime is based on an outdated event from the year 2018. In that year, the Japanese national football team finished 16th in FIFA World Cup. As a result, the Japanese Football Association took some preventive measures and decided to get a master football team. They hire football enigma Ego Jinpachi to set up a plan to find the best players. His master plan was called “Blue Lock”, a training regime designed to create the world’s biggest selfish strikers. A condition for participation in this training plan is that if someone does not pass Blue Lock, they may never represent Japan again. The main character of the series Yoichi Isagi is an unknown ordinary high school student who decided to join the plan. He entered the program and matched against the rest of the participants to become the best player in the world.

Blue Lock’s new characters PV is out and we’re getting more characters this time. The anime adaptation of the award-winning manga is expected to be discontinued in 2022. A specific release date has yet to be announced. But in addition to the teasers that appear from time to time, the voice cast for the main characters has also been introduced. The main character Yoichi Isagi is voiced by Kazuki Ura, who previously worked in Sword Art Online: Alicization, Happy Sugar Life and others.
