‘Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest’ or ‘Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou’ is an isekai harem anime inspired by the Japanese light novel series of the same name, written by Ryo Shirakome and illustrated by Takayaki. The show centers on Hajime Nagumo, a 17-year-old otaku whose life is turned upside down after being summoned to a fantasy world to save humanity along with her classmates. As they gain impressive combat skills, Hajime is left with useless skills, and to make matters worse; he is even betrayed by a friend who tries to hurt him. Fortunately, that betrayal unexpectedly leads him to a captured vampire, and the two team up to redeem themselves.
After an extremely successful first season, the second episode of the anime has also received excellent reviews so far, but the viewership has been relatively disappointing. However, after the end of the second season, fans are still eagerly awaiting the next part of the anime. So, when will it be released? If you are wondering the same, let us be your guide.
Arifureta Season 3 Release Date
‘Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest’ season 2 premiered on January 13, 2022 and ended a few weeks later on March 31, 2022. Unlike the first episode, which had 13 episodes, the series’ second season includes 12 episodes. , each with a running time of approximately 21-25 minutes.
As for season 3 of the anime, here’s everything we know so far. Unfortunately, Asread and Studio Mother have not officially renewed the show for another season as of yet. However, an OVA has been announced that will premiere this summer. The show’s viewership has fallen from its first season, but it remains one of the most-watched shows of this winter season.

The ratings for the latest episode are also good, and looking at the source material, the chances of an extension seem pretty high. Ryo Shirakome’s light novel series already has 12 volumes, only six of which have been used for the anime adaptation so far. So there’s more than enough content for two more episodes of the show. So in the end, next season’s release is directly dependent on the schedule of the studios involved.
Now, looking at the popularity of the anime, it’s not wrong to expect that sooner or later it will be green-lighted for production. Assuming things go as predicted, we can expect season 3 of ‘Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest’ to premiere sometime mid 2023†
Arifureta Season 3 Plot: What Could It Be About?
In the Season 2 finale, Hajime implants Kaori’s soul into Noit’s body, increasing the latter’s combat abilities. Meanwhile, Ehit’s true intentions are finally revealed to everyone, and Kouki is all too eager to fight him before he can do anything. Hajime disagrees with her, however, as he feels they should focus on returning home. In the end, they decide to form two groups, one with Hajime on his way to the Labyrinth, while the other begins to team up with the king to fight back against Ehit.
In Season 3, Hajime’s love life gets more complicated after Kaori’s confession. Although the main character only wants to be with vampire princess Yue, he learns that she wants him to have relationships with other girls as well and has no desire to keep him just to himself. Meanwhile, Hajime and his friends learn about the battle between Haulia and the Hoelscher Empire, who have demons on their side. They will join Haulia in the revolution and perhaps emerge victorious, before embarking on their next adventure, which is fraught with unexpected dangers.
