Spriggan is an original sci-fi action net animation based on the manga series of the same name by Hiroshi Takashige and illustrated by Ryoji Minagawa. The plot revolves around Yu Ominae, a 17-year-old high school student trying to balance his life between being a normal teenager and working as Spriggan, an elite member of the military wing of the ARCAM Foundation, a global organization that locates and secures—or, if necessary, seal or destroy – powerful relics from ancient civilizations. After his dream of becoming a librarian does not come true, a dejected Noirs discovers a secret dungeon using his rare skill, the Great Sage. In that dungeon, he meets Olivia Servant, a high-ranking hero who has been imprisoned there for the past 200 years. With the help of Olivia, Noir becomes a famous hero, adventurer and the target of affection of several women. Like Yu, the source of Noir’s powers is the ancient relics he finds in the dungeon with Olivia’s help.

Like ‘Sprigan’, ‘Canaan’ has stunning animations and explosive action sequences. The titular protagonist of ‘Canaan’ is a highly efficient fighter like Yu. She embarks on a path of revenge after Alphard, a woman she loves like an older sister, betrays both her and their master Siam. While in Shanghai, Canaan reunites with her friend Maria Oosawa after rescuing her from masked killers. They realize they must work together if they are to thwart the elaborate plan of Alphard, who is also in town.

4. Neon Genesis Evangelion (1995-1996)

‘Neon Genesis Evangelion’ is the sprawling TV anime that started the multimedia franchise of the same name. Like ‘Neon Genesis Evangelion’, ‘Ghost in the Shell’ started its franchise. Set in futuristic 2009 Japan, the story revolves around Motoko Kusanagi, aka Major, and her team of public security agents as they search for a hacker calling himself the Puppet Master.
