Our protagonist, Natsu Dragneel, while searching for Igneel, encounters a celestial mage (the user who can summon various celestial spirits), Lucy Heartfilia. Lucy discovers that Natsu is a member of the Fairy Tail guild after rescuing her from a shoddy fraudulent magician, and she accepts his invitation to join the guild. When she joins the Fairy Tail Guild, she encounters many mages. First, the ice wizard Gray Fullbuster, the person with is always without clothes. Erza Scarlet, the matchless battle queen. Together they teamed up and embarked on a journey full of missions. But the only danger they have to face is the ultimate dreaded Dark Magic Lord.
Filled with plenty of adventure, action and comedy, here are the 10 reasons why you should watch Fairy tail†
1. Engaging and Consistent Plot
The plot of the Fairy tail is very virtuous, the story takes no time to introduce new characters. Daybreak Ark was Natsu and Lucy’s first mission, which was the centerpiece of the plot in which they embarked on an adventure. With each new Arc, the story got better and the storytelling was no slouch. The world building in the plot remains consistent with the characters. Most of the problems with Shonen Anime are that episodes are often repetitive with the plot and reruns. But with Fairytail it’s the other way around, the summaries are short and the story progresses well and at a good pace. The elements of fantasy, action, adventure and comedy fit well with the story.

2. Quirky Characters
Fairy Tail has quite a few unique characters, mostly consisting of Fairy Tail guild members. Each character has an eccentric edge and connection to the others. Natsu can be described as an emotionally complex character with a comedic side. Besides Natsu, there are characters like Lucy, Gray, Erza and Happy.
All the characters, especially Natsu, Gray and Erza, have tragic pasts, which helps with their character development in the future. Every character in the anime has great development throughout the series. Every complex mission or evil force they have to deal with makes their character stronger and more mature. You will eventually come to love all the characters in this anime and probably become hardcore fans.

3. Best Soundtrack and Background Music
There is no doubt that an important part of an anime is the background music and soundtrack. Fairy tail has one of the best soundtracks and background scores ranged between pop, rock and even rap genres. Sound director Shouji Hata did a brilliant job at reaching the emotions. The opening themes are beautiful and fit well with the pace of the screenplay, keeping you interested in the plot. The background score consists of creating many breathtaking moments in fight scenes with his music. My favorite opening track and background music is “Snow Fairy” and Erza and Natsu’s theme.

4. Best Relationships
Besides story and character development, the relationships between characters are what captivates viewers the most in anime. It’s very natural to indulge in seeing romance between characters. There are many character ships that will surely interest you to watch this anime. The most famous couples in Fairy tail among fans are Natsu and Lusy, or you could say “NaLu”. These two have great chemistry together, their often flirty behavior is quite fun to watch. Relationships don’t always have to be romantic, there can also be a Bro relationship. Happy and Natsu can be called one of the best buddy duos, their bonding and understanding for each other.

5. Best Bows
What a story encompasses in an anime is the arcs. Each arc consists of an existing plot that revolves around the story with specific parts of the story. These can also be called mini-plots that end with a resolution that helps the main storyline. There are many great bows in the Fairy Tail Anime. Each storyline contributes greatly to the main story and character development. There are many arks with great action scenes and emotional moments. My favorite arc is the “Grand Magic Games” and “Tartaros” Arc. Each Arc normally spans 20-50 episodes. Some viewers may skip the filler arcs in this anime, but the “key to the starry sky” ark is a must-see.

6. Epic Battle Powerups
What makes a great fight scene more intense are power-ups. Being the strongest character doesn’t always pay off because there’s always someone higher than you. To defeat these overwhelming villains, you must keep improving your powers. Natsu, the main character of Fairy Tail, can use Fire Dragon Slayer Magic. He is undoubtedly one of the strongest wizards in the series and has some of the best power-ups. One of Natsu’s best power-ups includes “Dragon force”, “Hidden fire form” and “Multi Dragon force”. You can feel goosebumps while watching the fights.

7. Natsu and Gary: Dear Frenemy
Frenemies can be considered your rivals encouraging you to move forward and push yourself to perfection. Some relationships start with rivals and end with inseparable friends. Natsu and Gary are both teammates in the Fairy Tail guild. They have both fought each other since childhood. Natsu’s magic element is fire and Gary’s magic element is ice, they inevitably fight each other. But this rivalry tie makes their team stronger. Because when they fight together to protect what’s dear to them, it’s impossible to stop them.

8. Powerful Female Characters
Female characters in an anime are very important because they are often the key to the conflict. Fairy Tail has some tough female mages with a huge amount of Magical power and lots of Fanservice moments. Erza Scarlet is one of the most powerful female mages. She is part of Natsu’s team and is also one of his best friends. She can even be considered a main character as she has saved the lives of Natsu and Gary countless times. You’ll love how the atmosphere around her changes when she rushes in to fight. Next to Erza comes Mirajane, who is also very strong. She seems like a delightful personality, but in reality she has a terrifying soul.

9. Captivating Life Lessons
What you can gain from watching anime, and being entertained, is one aspect of that. But getting inspired is another story. Fairy tail has many aspects of the story that inspire the viewers. There are many life lessons that you learn while watching anime. The most important life lesson for me was the “Value of Friends and Family”. Fairy tail teaches us the joy of friendship. When Lucy first joined the Fairy Tail guild, she felt like she had become part of a big family. A family she never had, which generally gave her the strength to move on in life. Viewers will feel a sense of comfort while watching this anime.
